Products from Reber
The master confectioner Peter Reber opened the first Reber confectionery and patisserie café in Munich in 1865, exactly 150 years ago. He soon made a name for himself with his homemade sweet treats and his café became a meeting place for Munich’s high society.
In 1938 the Reber family moved their main café to the centre of Bad Reichenhall, where the company head office is located today. A great deal has changed since its foundation 150 years ago, although the company is owned by the family’s fifth generation, the traditional recipes are still carefully guarded and the café culture is still lovingly celebrated here. Roughly 200,000 guests visit the main café in Bad Reichenhall every year and the sales outlets in Salzburg to enjoy the exquisite confectionery specialities in a unique setting.
The famous “genuine Reber Mozart-Kugeln®” achieved worldwide success quickly. They are filled with pistachio marzipan and hazelnut nougat and covered in the finest praline chocolate. Today we are proud to be the German market leader for Mozart Kugeln chocolates and also the global market leader of this premium segment speciality with approx. 500,000 chocolates produced every day.
An integral element of our corporate philosophy is also innovation. Besides the genuine Reber Mozart-Kugeln® we have also been providing a range for milk chocolate lovers since the launch of the Constanze® Mozart-Kugel. The Reber confectionery brand is also expanded with its own innovations. With every exquisite chocolate speciality we want to give our consumers the gift of time to escape hectic everyday life and routine. Johann Wolfgang Goethe recognised the special role of time when he wrote: „Time we take is time that gives us something.“
